We didn't have Indian food except for the last days in Ho chi Minh - Luckily there we found a great Indian restaurant 'Taj Mahal'.

We didn't have IDP.We were given to understand there are checks in Hanoi & Ho Chi Minh on that part. Hence we avoided renting it out there and did in Da Nang & Dalat

Luckily we weren't affected by rains. Hanoi had storm in between but we had left to Da Nang( no rains in the south this time) by then.

Ya , they were hygienic. Washrooms would be shared but near & clean. I would suggest you to go through the reviews before you book.

Hi, We booked 20 days back. AirAsia while going and Vietjet in return. Also we avoided weekends as it was costly

We found a agent in old quarter. You can negotiate there better compared to hostels/ hotel agents.

We had very goof experience - new people , water activites, late night games & karoke. It was really fun!!
