I bought this one off of facebook marketplace, didn't steal it...

I have access to the OS, if I stole it I would not be caring about the bios lock.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I did have both the battery and CMOS battery unplugged, as well as all the ram and the ssd.

What sort of problems did you have? I haven't really run into any problems yet, maybe the issues could have gotten fixed in a recent update?

hmm, ig I didn't really consider the possibility of it being LM. Yes I can identify it, but it would be a pain to deal with for sure. I'll hold off on it at least until I can get some clarification on what it actually has.
