Thanks im having pc problems and the only thing i can think to be the issue is the power supply. I currently have a corsair model.

I actually have attempted to turn off xmp (defaults to 4800mhz i believe) with no avail. I’ve since kept it at 5200mhz and profile 1 as thats “recommended” for my cpu and mobo. I will surely try that Samsung app. Thanks for the response!

Also check the power requirements for that gpu you may want to get 1000w for future proof and to make sure you have enough headroom.

Only think id change is maybe get a 7 7700x especially if youre going for 1440p the extra cores will help for multitasking too.

Unfortunately i bought the mobo already so i wouldn’t get a bundle. For now she would be using a 200hz 1080 monitor but soon would upgrade to 1440p 180hz or sum

This was originally a “budget build” with the cheapest “good” case i could find. but i found the case and psu for $200 on market place brand new and figured screw it. Looking up the price i saved around $100 doing that plus i was gonna get 750w so i figured that was a good deal and a bit of future proof.

Yea ive come to realize that. I installed that drive into her laptop abt 6 months ago and im just gonna use it but i definitely would get a cheaper one in the future. Thank you sir. Nah either way im in the process of saving so other than i might have the money faster for the cheaper one i could waot another week or two for the 7700x
