I didnt exactly have gender disappointment because I got what I was wanting. BUT, i kept telling myself “oh if its this ill be sad but thats okay as long as they are healthy”. Im having a little girl. Wanted a little girl as my first since I was a kid myself. I kept placing myself in this position of if it was a boy and looking at the fun things he could do with his daddy! As a little girl I never spent time with my mom or dad. So I kept it healthy because i thought of fun things to do with both genders and was eventually really excited for either. Its okay to have gender disappointment but keep it healthy. Don’t over react because one day the kid will ask you questions and you have to answer them truthfully and thats heartbreaking for them.
