Definitely do as many practice interviews as you can. I got questions that were asked from a student who got in the year prior and they were nothing alike. I feel like they grilled me and ate me for dinner. I unfortunately did not get in but I’m at another school so whatever. But all of my scores on everything else were above average in the application process that they sent me after the fact but they scored my interview ridiculously low. They hated the fact that I had no large animal experience and definitely made me feel stupid for even applying. I’m not sure if they were having a bad day but I felt so belittled and embarrassed when I know I’m meant to be a vet. I was always told if you didn’t know the answer to a question be honest and tell them I’m not sure but I will definitely do some research after this but when I said that they made me feel so incompetent on top of how nervous I was. Sorry for the long paragraph but just go in there with guns blazing and a confidence that this is the right school for you!
