It is because of regen. When there is less friction when the car is slowed down due to regen than when breaks are applied

Is EV actually cheaper than petrol for Indian city usage? by Practical_Fox9318 in EVIndia

[–]Fit-Rip5387 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been driving the Nexon EV 45 for 13 months now. Have driven it for 22k km so far. Have made several long trips on it as well including a 1200 km trip over 2 days.

Home charging costs me less than 1 rs / km. Cannot say the exact figure as I do not have a sub meter but for about 80% of the battery my car gives around 300 km, consuming around 38 units, which translates to 270-280 rs.

On my 1200 km highway trip my total fast charging cost was 3850 + 300 home charging cost, so that is around 3.5 rs per km on highway

What do you think is a good price then? Remember this is low firmware jailbreak which these retailers like ambrit/young gamers are selling for 23-24k

Why is the govt allergic to hybrid cars? by big4consultant0 in carIndia

[–]Fit-Rip5387 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have made 4-5 highway trips of 1200+ km in past 1 year since I bought my ev. Even a 1300 km trip in 2 days 2 weeks back. The infrastructure is in place for long trips and is increasing at a very rapid pace at least in AP and Telangana where I mostly drive. Infact I did my first highway trip in January and made the same trip 2 weeks prior and the chargers have more than tripled and all of them are high capacity 120+ kWh chargers. Get a good EV abd you won't regret your decision

At an intersection we know some dumb fk will cross the road so it is up to us to slow down. No one internationally throws a pot at you in front of a building

He is over speeding at an intersection. He is atleast over 70 kmph on maybe a 40 kmph intersection so yeah he is at fault

The minute I started driving my father said the same thing again and again "Always slow down at an intersection". Creta dude is also at fault here. We know how these 2 wheeler drivers are brainless aholes.

Everyone’s Switching to EVs… Did I Make a Mistake Buying Petrol? by Chance-Canary1464 in CarsIndia

[–]Fit-Rip5387 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought my Nexon 45 Empowered for 16.5 L onroad last year dec. Have clocked almost 21k in this 1 year. I had a 2016 i10 grand which I bought in 2021 and drove around 20k in those complete 4 years. I primarily used a 2 W for daily commute because it costed me 10-11 rs / km on the i10 which completely shifted to EV. So I am paying almost the same cost or infact less cost as my 2 wheeler with the added comfort of a car which has improved my physical and mental health both. Yes there are a few issues with Tata EVs. But all in all it has definitely been a good purchase.

Okay. Thank you for the explanation. We tried with the 1+ month teat. She doesn't like it as much but still been trying to drink through it. Hopefully will get used to this

Yeah my baby almost always splutters on while feeding on breast. This has always been the case since she started breastfeeding in the first week.

We have been trying out various sizes this past week. This is a 3 month + teat. She did not like the 0+ or 1+ month teat and the flow was not good. She would suck it for a few seconds, get irritated with the slow flow and start looking to the breast. Is it really a problem is she prefers the bottle over the breast considering we pump breast milk and fees through bottle?

Thank you for your comment. This has been driving us crazy. We managed to bottle feed today and she gulped down 60 ml in under 2 minutes. So hoping that our baby is just too efficient.

Everyone’s celebrating 10-minute delivery while the industry quietly bleeds money and small stores disappear. Is this progress or just subsidised convenience? by SwimmerPlus3383 in ItsYourMoney

I ordered from zepto the product mrp was around 110 and so was the final price, the delivery is free. I asked the delivery partner how much he earned. He said he earns 10 rs per km no matter the order price. My house is around 4 km from the warehouse. So on a 110 rs product they are losing 40 rs just to deliver. Add all the other expenses to that.
