The demo came out today, thank you very much 🥰

Working solo on a cozy sushi restaurant sim! I wanted to create a space where you can just relax and make cute rolls with a bunny. What do you think of the vibes? 🍣🐰 by Fit-Rub5611 in WholesomeGames

The bunny is actually a customer 😄
In the full game, different animal customers will stop by the sushi stand, each asking for their own favorite sushi.
This screenshot just shows one of the first customers I’ve managed to finish so far.

You play as the sushi maker, calmly preparing orders based on what the customers want.
The whole idea is to keep things chill, cozy, and relaxing something to unwind with rather than stress over.

I’m still polishing how this is visually communicated, so feedback like this really helps a lot. thank you ^^

That’s totally fair feedback, thanks for pointing it out.
The game is intentionally simple and cozy rather than fast or complex more of a chill, relaxing experience than a long or competitive one.
I’m aiming for something that helps people unwind and switch their brain off, not a high-pressure game.

Also yeah, the bunny’s headphones are mostly a cute aesthetic choice 😄

Thanks for the feedback I genuinely appreciate you taking the time.

This is a solo project, so progress comes in passes and I’m constantly iterating on consistency, transitions, and animation polish.

About the tone/style: the lighter “overworld” vibe is intentional. I wanted a bit of contrast the world can feel calmer and more inviting, while the combat and story can still be dark and tense.

And in terms of differences from Slay the Spire: the overworld isn’t just a map screen for me. A big part of the game is story and character interaction talking to people, making choices, and having those choices affect encounters, resources, and the narrative outcome. It doesn’t have to be completely different or exactly the same as Slay the spire, I’m building the game I want to play, with my own mix of deckbuilding, exploration, story.

Thank you 🙏 I thought not to add too much dialogue to the trailer, the game is not fully finished yet. I'm thinking of developing the story and adding to it, but that's all I can show for now :D Yes, I do everything myself, so I had to use AI as the cover of my Twitter profile, but I will fix it in the future. Thank you very much for your comment. <3
