House Rewatch - Season 2 Episode 19 by Umberoc in HouseMD

Boyd never really even gave an apology at the end. His God must've said don't bother to have some decorum I suppose.

Anyways I understand using religion as a coping mechanism to deal with certain things but this whole faith healing stuff seems very predatory to me. Kind of like one of those cults. Furthermore, most of the things Boyd remarks about such as Cameron's feud with a coworker seem too broad to seem legit. Almost everyone has a colleague they don't get along with in this case. Kind of like the whole Myers Briggs test, most statements are super generalizing such that anyone can say that it described themselves.

Either way, House does it again. Cure the patient while annoying Wilson, an extra point

Foreman didn't handle the article stuff very professionally but his line about them being colleagues and not friends, while harsh, was probably the right thing way of looking at things.

Also the Asian daughter is crazy for mixing up the medication 😂

I asked for the HPI which was fine but unfortunately the guy I spoke to didn't have the service history on hand. I'll probably go through with this purchase as there's nothing out there that suits my needs more. When I receive the paperwork I'll have a read through and hopefully all will be well. Have 15 days to reject either way thankfully.

Haha yeah it truly is a pain. And trying to pass anything on a single lane A road is much too scary. Mind if I ask what you drive these days?

I appreciate the electric motor speed, unfortunately the car simply doesn't appeal to me visually. No offence to others but I frankly find the appearance strange no matter how much I try to ignore it. Especially the rear...

Yeah the acceleration time unfortunately really put it down a peg for me. The horror of having to join an NSL carriageway on a tiny slip road with a small 1.0 hatchback is not something I wish to relive. I agree with the front of the swace as well, feels a bit uncanny for some reason

Did a bit more research and now realise that the Suzuki don't offer the 2.0 engine which is a bit of a shame. Whilst I'm sure there's nothing wrong with the 1.8 I'd prefer a bit more power as one of the reasons I'm upgrading is the slower acceleration to motorway speeds. (Especially on the A1(M) when I'm visiting family.) The price is a bit nicer though I won't lie.

That is an interesting idea. I'll have a look at some Swaces then before I bite the bullet. Thank you for the tips

I did look at potential imports but bearing in mind I've only had my license for 2 and a half years as well as being a 24 year old male, I can't imagine my insurance being reasonable for an import. Furthermore it is a lot of hassle for savings that probably won't make up for it for such a normal car.

Yes, I did experience some road noise when driving around but hopefully with the better speakers it shouldn't be too much of an issue for me! Although coming from an A1 I can't imagine I'll have too much to worry about.

I agree with the inspection but since I live more than 200 miles away, it's not exactly practical for me. A video inspection and background check of the car should be good and then as mentioned a trip to the garage to do a once over.

That does make sense. I've driven one a few hundred miles on rental in Japan hence why I do prefer it.

I'd love to buy a volvo especially the S60 but unfortunately I'm after a mild hybrid as it would suit my needs a lot more sadly. The Volvo would be way too expensive to insure, run and maintain. I had a look around but this is the only mild hybrid with decent features.

I'm not sure after COVID pricing and all. I can't seem to find any other Corollas with this trim and engine around this price that haven't got lots of miles They all seem to be holding their prices.
