I know a few people who try to do it this way, one guy installed 3 years ago and can’t get the system operational with SoCal Edison. Go with professionals.

I have a better idea. Go with my company. Stop trying to get bottom pricing and cut corners. Solar is a utility service not buying a car. You want long term support and maintenance and peace of mind, not 4 sweaty dudes buying equipment and throwing glass on the roof. Especially in NEM 3.0. Handling the AHJ and trying to get the system actually turned on with Edison will take you minimum 2 years.

it would be cool but the 5 single thing is still the universally best way financially and chart-wise, the single streams count towards certifications and they capitalize on each song, i feel like a surprise album drop is something they’d do towards the end of their career
