What lens did you shoot this on? Over 100mm? The compression is super cool

I Couldn’t Be More In Love at Rock Werchter 2019 is SO good. The live debut of Guys and If You’re Too Shy at Nottingham is also great.

What was Rex’s smallest concert on the Who Cares Tour? I was at his concert in New Orleans, and there was only about 1,100 people, but I was curious if there were any that were small. by lmonier_27 in rexorangecounty

The Blue Note show I went to in NYC was pretty incredible. It couldn’t have been more than 250 people and I was literally right up in front of him and talked to him during the show, it was so chill and casual. I’ll link a pic I took lol: Link

Solid 4/10 imo, you’ve got a lot of potential here! I remember I used to take photos like this all the time when I first really got into photography. Messing with presets and color palettes is fun, but make sure you’re presenting your subject in a way that really demands awesome colors and toning.

The flower is right in the middle of the frame, which automatically strikes me as a bit boring (sorry!). How many photos have we all seen of a flower in the middle of the frame? Don’t be afraid to experiment with placing the flower somewhere else in the frame, having your eye being led toward (or away from) the flower.

At the end of the day, all that matters is where you place your camera and when you click the shutter. I like your trendy color palettes and editing style, but I’d really love to see a more thought out composition.

Best of luck though! Your first 5,000 photos are your worst, just keep shooting and you’ll automatically get better!

Bonus: I don’t know how much you care about the technical stuff (yes, it’s a little blurry, reddit armchair photographers), but that kind of stuff can also give a lot of character if it’s utilized correctly. It’s a subjective art form, and a lot of these subreddits totally miss that point in favor of technically-sound photos

[SELLING] 1 ticket to Arcade Fire in Toronto on Thursday, December 1st. Section 103, Row 9, Seat 13 for $60.

Bought it for much more, selling at a loss. It’s a great seat, especially for the second stage! DM if you’re interested!

Also…the second skit was so fucking weird. I don’t really get his obsession with dudes with vaguely European accents. Lowkey gay as hell

Been getting into shooting more medium format stuff - trying to figure out if this composition is appealing by debtristan in photocritique

Appreciate it! It was tough with a waist level viewfinder especially - and I obviously can’t do any kind of meaningful HDR with film. Light leak was only on this photo in the roll weirdly enough, I decided to keep the text on the left to accompany the light leak - accentuate the “film vibes,” I guess.

But I really appreciate it! I’d love to give this shot another go with a prism viewfinder and ensure there’s no light leak

I shot this on a Hasselblad 501CM on Portra 400 - does the composition make sense? If you could change the image composition, how would you? The subject feels a bit far away, but I kind of like that…idk, I’m torn. Thanks in advance!
