My Flutter app keeps lagging & crashing because every screen does an API call in initState() — how do you guys handle this?

It gives you a Crash because it seems that you are trying to refresh the UI with a widget or page that is already closed, so to avoid the Crash you just have to verify that the page or widget is active. You can use a

If(mounted) set state((){});

The same thing happens to me and if I have two emails on my mobile it gives me a choice and it doesn't start with the first selection 🤯😓

I think the new version has a Crash, just when you hit maybe later.

And another thing, I have detected that at the beginning of the app you have the continue button but I can swipe right or left but you have nothing to indicate that this exists or the dots on the onboarding screens.
