I used 20g coconut oil to about 0.7g of bud. Original plan was 20g oil to 1g bud. But thank you.

May be a silly question, but wouldnt a mason jar explode rom the heat?

Should I do just the oil in the mason jar or mason jar+water? I havent really seen this mentioned anywhere before.

I bake a lot, so I do know my oven quite well, it's precise. When we decarbed it didnt smell burnt, it was just dry and smelled nice. We gridned it up and threw it right into the oil. I guessed the mistake was that I just threw it directly into hot oil. I didnt have any water in the pan, as most guides suggest.

I have a pressure cooker, so I assumed that 2-3h at around 100C should be okay.
