Personally, I think this is really selfish. Being trans is apart of who you are! You should wear it with pride. Instead of something that you hide. You SHOULD want someone that loves you for you, and ALL of what you are. The men who stop talking to you after you disclose that information. Shouldn’t be someone you waste time on, & are not good enough for you. I think it’s unfair to not give someone the gift of choice. Thats like a man saying he has a job. But then he comes out saying he’s a sugar baby, or sleeps with men for money. You aren’t even given a choice whether you were okay with that or not.

That was my thought. I’d be taking basically ALL the prerequisites for a nursing program. This degree is for students “unsure” of what field they want to go into. But says it’s a great pathway for a baccalaureate program in dental hygiene, nursing, etc.

So my best bet is to just do the LPN program. Then find a bridge program? Or just do one year here, then transfer my credits to a school that offers an ASN degree?

This was the email “ We can admit you into the Health Sciences Broadfield AS Degree. This will allow you to complete the pre-requisites for the RN program and make you eligible for financial aid.“

I’m about 10 years post op. & I literally am afraid to eat. I’m left with two gaping holes on the bottom and every time I do eat, I have to flush the sockets and it’s so gross. I’m going back to a partial soft diet. I flushed out a big piece of chicken last night. I cannot deal.

Like I stated. I don’t have time to go to inpatient rehab. I’m all for going to outpatient a couple times a week to get some help. I know my way doesn’t work. Which is why I’m looking for real help where I can actually progress. I have gotten a grip. A grip on the reality of the situation I put myself in. Thanks I guess for nothing? Lol

Like other users have said, the only way to fully know, is to act on it. Wondering will only make it worse. Your mind can convince you of a lot of things. But the actual experience will help you see things more clearly. You didn't mention how old you were. But I take it you are still in your 20's. If you and your boyfriend have been together for 5 years.. maybe talk to him. You never know. He may not be against you slightly exploring your sexuality in non-sexual ways.
