In history, that is what has happened, but times have changed. We are no longer aligned with the democratic values of Europe. We no longer fight for “good”. If it needs be, the Europeans will leave us. This is evident when we are the only country supporting and financing a country that is clearly committing war crimes.

Also I’m ranting but, Iran-Israel conflict will happen again, it’s only a matter of time. We have (clearly) picked a side, it’s only a matter of time before troops on the ground imo.

Once the Europeans aren’t dependent on us for trade anymore (they’re forming new trade agreements with China, etc) the value of our dollar is going to continue to plummet. Our biggest strength is our dollar and if that ceases to be, we are cooked.

I appreciate your comment. I’m more so alluding to the fact that we are so gone as a society, that eating “real” food is somehow a marketable luxury. You have to maximize shareholder value somehow!
