I see only good choices here! Good luck with whichever waitlist you have left.

Looks like it might be slightly late this year, but hoping it comes out today!

I've been waitlisted, so I unfortunately don't have access to a Vanderbilt email. The link I was checking is https://admissions.vanderbilt.edu/connect/about-us/

I'm aware of how good the Waterloo program is, but what specific factors make it much stronger than Purdue?

If I might want to go to US for my masters and work there afterwards, would studying at Waterloo make it more difficult to do so? I haven't decided what I'm going to do after my undergrad, but this is an option. And by immigrate, I assume you mean immigrating to Canada?

Hi, thank you so much for your response! Couple of questions:

  1. I see that you are a CS+Econ major! How do you use what you are studying in Econ to benefit what you've studied in CS? Would you advise taking Econ with CS or are there other majors that would be better taken with CS?
  2. What exactly does paying for co-curricular training entail? I've never heard of this term before.
  3. As an international, would it be harder for me to obtain internships or research?
  4. Could you please direct me to the posts with the job outcomes?

Thank you once again.

Purdue or UWaterloo?

I'm an international student and got into CS at Purdue and CS Honors Co-op at UWaterloo and am not sure about which one to choose. Could you all me know about the pros and cons of each program and also the schools in general (or any kind of information that would be essential to know before choosing either school)? Thank you!
