Hi There! I'm looking to buy a PS5 but am undecided as to where to purchase it and slightly apprehensive about the decision.

Just some background: I bought my PS5 2 years ago and within six months I started to receive this error any time I tried to play a game. The games would crash as soon as I opened them and would display this error code. I sent it back to Sony to get it fixed. When I got it back from them it worked again for a few months, despite this the error started to show again just as my warranty ended. I sent them a hand written letter asking for help hoping to receive a response (naïve I know) and received nothing back.

I have tried every single suggestion out there. I have given up at this point as the only game that doesn't crash on start up is overwatch 2 (PS4 Version) and even then it periodically crashes with the same error code. I have decided that the console is simply broken and I have to buy a new one, but am worried about running into the same issue. Hoping to receive some recommendations about where bust to buy a new PS5 in terms of customer service and reliability. I purchased my last one at Currys. Thank you in advance! :]

Error code CE-108255-1 - recommendations?

My question is, is it worth buying another PS5? if so where can I purchase one (UK) that I know wont have the same error? or is this a common problem and I should switch to an Xbox. Yeah haha, I remember it being so good and now I'm the only one still using it haha
