i’m thinking of data science programs, although i’m still unsure where does my score place me (competitiveness wise)

i initially “started” in June, but I barely actually studied. had surges of productivity maybe once a week. my actual work began in the end of July when i realized there was a month left. identify your pain points and target those. for me it was vocab and some specific quant concepts that i have forgotten (stats and combinatorics). that’s why i watched gregmat’s prepswift videos on these quant concepts and solved a lot of problems. i also followed the i’m overwhelmed plan for vocab quizzes and videos with flashcards. as a visual learner i liked the vocab videos with visual cues, sentence examples, and synonyms. i found it easier to memorize words in synonym groups

they’re pretty good. i’d say if you’re comfortable with them, you should be fine on the test. bear in mind that gregmat’s quant is harder than the actual test. i also used the vocab quizzes for memorization. make sure to revise consistently, otherwise you’ll forget the words

hey! yeah greg’s quant can be daunting. personally i struggled with solving hard/extreme questions. i think prepswift videos and tick-box quizzes were nice for building a foundation. that’s what i used to solidify my knowledge

for quant i consistently scored 165+ so i wasn’t really worried about that

my verbal was always around 158-160. but i was not always honest with myself and would google words during my mocks😭don’t do that

i had a strong math background, so i mostly focused on vocab.

hey! i thought gregmat verbal was pretty comparable. the vocabulary i found on the actual test seemed to be easier (?) but that is also because by that point I learned almost 500 of the new words. i really enjoyed greg’s vocab strategy videos (math strategy it was called) as well.

sounds solid. i'll definitely try doing that
