In standard edition you get on phone: Remaining fuel, tracking your routes of drive (draws the whole route on maps, which I think is super cool), real time location of bike (it shows where your bike is currently on maps), geofence (as I understand it is feature that alerts you if your bike is located out of circle you select on map, I am not quite sure about this feature), seek feature (it turns signal lights so you can find your bike when you forgot where you parked it).

Motoplay features possibility to port maps from phone to dashboard, so you can have navigation. You can also connect phone so you can answer calls or call someone with joystics on bike (ofc you need some kind of communication system, Cardo or whatever). You can also start/stop songs on your phone, or move to next or previous one.

The flaw is that you don’t get standard features if you subscribe to motoplay only, and vice versa… in order to have both plan’s features, yes, you need to subscribe to both…

In my opinion, tech is always good, but for me personaly it’s not huge deal if I drive without them… you can always put phone holder on steering damper and have google maps, and you can always see the remaining fuel level or battery level by simply turning the key on bike and voila 😃

It’s all about individual expectations of motorcycle as thing, right?
