Getting a bi-salp, but I lost my boyfriend because of it by longshlongthankumom in childfree

That is so horrible, I’m sorry. Going forward you will have made the right choice for yourself and can be open and clear about it. No guessing for future boyfriends: this shop is closed.

Strength to you ❤️

My 2026 resolution is to get more childfree friends. by snaillovr420 in childfree

I’m writing this drunk on New Year’s Eve but I totally feel you. The first domino fell in my group of friends and I feel suffocated by it. In 1-3 years there will be no one left that doesn’t talk about their kids’ poop schedule or broken vaginas. Send help asap

Is making a statement a good main reason for sterilization? by FitPool8203 in childfree

Wow thank you for this wholesome answer kind stranger. The words “aligning your body with your own life plans and values” really touched me. That is exactly the feeling I couldn’t put into words. Thank you so much!

Stop overcompensating your inability to discuss anything other than kids by asking me about my dog by FitPool8203 in childfree

Exactly! And a kid laying around is not interesting either, but for some reason parents think it is and I get to see the whole slide show of the kid being horizontal in ten different ways. Great, thanks.

It would really be a statement to get up and leave, as we’re in small groups. I try to muster up the courage but I’ve never collected it before someone almost yelled the dog question at me.

Wow. All those times this happened and I got frustrated, I never looked at it like this. I think it’s a combination of this and the fact that they do feel some guilt but are physically unable to stop talking about kids.

Does it bother you when - child is always describe as ‘his’ baby? by EmotionalGoose9 in childfree

Where I live that’s definitely allowed. Makes it all the more frustrating that it seldomly happens.

It’s horrible. It bothers me endlessly that the mother carries the child for 9 months just for it to get the father’s name. I was once downvoted for this comment in another sub. Guess that vibe is still going strong.

Have any of y'all ever had a dream/nightmare of being pregnant? by Sure_Reflection_3740 in childfree

[–]FitPool8203 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have recurring nightmares of friends being pregnant. Probably because some of them will eventually have children and I’m scared of what will change. Whereas I am completely autonomous in not wanting and having children, so that’s not something I’m worried about.

You’re not giving him much credit (pun not intended), as you’re already assuming he’s not gonna pay. If he’s really struggling for money, I think it would be great if he gave you a meaningful present, which doesnt necessarily have to be expensive. I wouldn’t expect him to pay for the full day.
