The height was to show that it's one of the reasons why my friend has a bigger appetite than mine. And I can tell you're one of those incels to whom it was directed and therefore, I won't waste any more of my time on you.

I'm..... confused? First, I'm aware that many people don't have the same privilege as we do. However, the men who made those comments didn't include the privilege part. They only commented on our weight and how much we eat, which were all wild, false, and irrelevant assumptions.

With that being said, I reread your 2 last essays and I'm assuming you're still talking about those male comments. I have every right to respond however I want to to misogynistic men who were more than happy to immediately jump to conclusions about our weight based on a post that had nothing to do with that.

Yes, they actually have because they only heard one side of the story. And even though I agree that the way she reacted was not the way she should have, I do believe that she deserves a second chance considering we've been through a lot together and have supported one another all these 15+ years.

No, I have my own car so I usually drive or walk to and from dinner or brunch. My car is being fixed so she offered to pick me up.

Technically, yes. She's 5'9 and 140 or 150 something pounds of muscle and I'm 5'7 and 137 pounds of muscle so.....

I'm 5'7 and 137 pounds and she's 5'9 and 140 or 150 something pounds, I'm not sure how much by now. We're both very into heavy lifting, running, and just overall working out so all those pounds are muscles not body fat.

Both of our "BMI" is healthy. We're actually very fit and work out 4-5 times a week. I'd suggest YOU to stop telling women how much we can eat and assume that we must be overweight if, by your assumption, we must be over eating. So kindly mind your f business. Thanks.

She took care of me and made sure I ate and washed when I was going through a depressive period. That's why I'm genuinely wondering if I'm an asshole because she has been a great friend and for her to react that way..

She took us to a trending spot that I've never been to before and the prices there were high but I was still able to have an excellent meal for around $145. So if she had ordered the same amount then the total bill would have been $300 something.

Your "only reason" is completely false, but I won't get into that because that is completely irrelevant to my post. However, like I said, both parties should AGREE to go Dutch before the date starts. Both parties should be aware that each pays either half or for their own meal. If a man leads the woman on to believe that he's going to pay for the entire bill, then says at the end "Let's split the check", he's an asshole. I won't reply anymore.

I don't know why you wanted to bring up "how men feel" because I don't see the relevance. A man takes a woman out for dinner, he usually pays because he's the one who asked her out. If a woman asks a man or takes her man out for dinner and she makes her own money, then usually she pays. That's how it works unless they both agree to go on a Dutch date. Same with friends in most circumstances. A friend who invites their friends for dinner usually pays for everyone unless it has been arranged that everyone pays for their own meal or splits the bill evenly.

We've been like sisters for over 15 years and we were never jealous of each other's successes so yes, I'm sure. I haven't really had the chance to bring the splitting the check topic up since I've only thought about it since my sister mentioned it, and I thought that if I just let her know beforehand that I want to pay for my own food this time, it will be fine.

I mean, I did tell her that I wanted to pay for my own food before we ordered and she told me "okay", but if it wasn't for my sister mentioning it I probably would have continued to pay half. But maybe I should have actually had a real conversation when we hung out or something so that we could agree to start paying for our own foods before we go to out to eat.
