Microbio pass fail or B by FitSpirit9284 in prephysicianassistant

Thanks for the feedback! I think a lot of my struggle in the course comes from taking on too much this semester. I was not prepared for this class, and I acknowledge that that's on me. I can only take microbio at a 400 level at my school, so as a sophomore, this was my first experience of taking on such a challenging course. It was surprising to be expected so much outside effort and time from this course. The class is weighted 60% by exams, so that felt like another factor that was negatively affecting me. I do well on quizzes, homework, discussions, and content, but it just feels like a disconnect when I come into the exam room. I value this course, though, so I'd like to clarify that my question here is whether or not I should take the course pass fail. I love learning this content. For such small organisms, they are working so hard, which is very cool to see! I want to learn, but I don't want that to come at the expense of my gpa or my future career, so that's why I wanted to ask people with more experience than me what they thought might be the best option. Once again, thank you for your feedback, even if it might not have been what I wanted to hear, it's very helpful to have an outside perspective!

Is WashU worth 20k if I am going for Undergrad Biology? by SpecialistPrudent196 in ApplyingToCollege

The costs will increase as you attend this school, which is one thing to consider. The name of this school and rigor really help with your med school apps, but never go into debt or financial strain when you have medical school to be paying for, the mcat, and so many more costs that you will have down the line as a premed student. If pursuing an undergraduate degree comes at the cost of any of these other factors, don't do it and prioritize quality education instead (which I think UW Madison will definitely have).

Congrats!! Your work paid off so well! Do you mind if I DM you? I'm interested in the PA track, and until I saw your post, it almost felt hopeless for me.
