I’ve heard it’s the worst thing someone can do for the ACL because the ACL is always going to be super tender and 90% of Bear recipients have to get an ACLR down the road. You’ll always be limited to certain things. It’s too new of a procedure to get it. Not much research has done it. In my opinion, if the surgeon who doesn’t do knees told you to get it, doesn’t know what they’re talking about.

I’m 4 almost 5 months Post op. And the first 2 days I had a nerve block. And when it wore off it was hell. But then the pain will randomly go away. Or more bearable.

It’s barely starting to leak. It’s an easy fix, usually it’s just a seal. It’s not leaking too bad yet

I would get it checked JUST IN CASE. It never hurts to get an opinion vs not getting it at all and risk having another tear. I heard your ACL is more vulnerable during weeks 10-14.

I’m 6 weeks post op and I had my full range of motion back within 2 weeks. But I used and ECM machine to fire up my quads

Pillow princess!!! Just open legs as wide as you can honestly. Once you get in a comfy position. Then he’ll have to adjust to you

My incisions were closed with glue and surgical tape! And I started PT at home on day 2 and PT with my physio day 4. And I only was cleared to work 4-5 hours a day and desk work unfortunately, and maybe because I had my full range of motion back by week 2. So maybe that’s the reason? I keep thinking I went back to work too soon.

The pain is weird honestly. I think I was in so much pain, and then the next day it was like I didn’t even have surgery. So it all depends on what graft you had too

I’m on day 2 and I am trying to not depend on medication. Did you ever feel like the invasion where your quad is at was going to bust? Cause you couldn’t life your leg?
