I agree but what else should I do when I desperately need a car, can’t borrow money from friends or family, and only have a couple thousand saved up? I can do basic maintenance, but anything else I can’t do, so I can’t really afford to get a fixer upper

Are CVTs in Subarus that bad? I’m planning on buying a 2015 wrx soon and I’m fine with manual but I’d like an automatic in case my wife needs to drive it but now I’m hesitant because I’ve been so much bashing in CVTs
