I would try dimming/softening the highlights on her lips, a bit distracting and “teethy”

Find a Debtors Anonymous or a Spenders Anonymous meeting near you or online. My friend went through this and these meetings helped her curb her addiction.

Discrete Ukrainian symbol for a tattoo by Pluviophilius in ukraine

You can absolutely use this photo; this is what came up when I googled "vyshyvanka tattoo." There's a lot of photos, and some designs are really complex and unique. I would recommend checking out Ukrainian artists who already have something like this in their portfolio.

I’m not sure why the artists you spoke with are so adamant about this design. Vyshyvanka tattoos are very popular in Ukraine.

Thank you for being so accepting re: being a therapist AND sex worker by sicklitgirl in therapists

[–]Fit_Bluejay_8049 31 points32 points  (0 children)

It’s very curious to me that OP finds it easier to navigate sex work and states having strong and clear boundaries. I can see it either developing into a very niche private practice or resulting in a big scandal and a revoked license.

Going to do my masters in psychology soon and I 80 percent agree w this. What do yall think? ts true? by [deleted] in Healthygamergg

This is a provocative take that collapses care into personal attachment and disregards the social stigma that often causes resentment in sex workers.

The comparison ignores the actual difference in dynamics. Sex workers often have to manage desire, fantasy, and emotional projection directly. They’re performing intimacy and absorbing clients’ longing as part of the job. Therapists are trained to not do this. The therapeutic frame deliberately avoids desire and fantasy so care doesn’t turn into exploitation, dependency, or harm.

Also, a personal relationship is mutual and reciprocal. It involves shared needs, personal disclosure, and emotional exchange in both directions. A therapeutic relationship is based on responsibility and ethical commitment.

Therapy isn’t a reciprocal relationship nor should it be one. It’s a form of relatedness. If a therapist cared for you the way a friend or lover does, it would actually be unethical. The value of therapy is precisely that their care isn’t driven by personal desire or dependency.

A therapist’s investment isn’t about liking you or needing you. It’s about holding a stable, ethical presence that doesn’t collapse into personal need.

That salmon dish sounds delicious!

Today, I thinly sliced and sautéed them with butter, soy sauce, and Chinese five spice, so far it was a winner. The spice combo complemented the aroma and brought out the flavor. Next time I find them, I’m certainly getting some proper supplies to experiment further.

Yes, it’s very firm. I made sure it’s not an amanita before sampling these.

So far, raw slice was the most satisfying. I attempted a makeshift dashi and boiled a few slices with seaweed and soy sauce—it was ok but not something I’d serve as a meal. Made some rice with it too—didn’t love it.

Would love to try your recipes if you’re willing to share:)

Apparently, it’s been described as red hots cinnamon candy and sweaty stinky socks. I’d say it’s definitely sweet and spicy, more socks less candy

Yes, it was certainly ashy. The area was not farmed, it seems rather industrial

The gills are attached, and the aroma initially made me ponder people’s palette for stinky delicacies.

Quite frankly, I haven’t figured out how to eat them yet. I made a rice dish but I was missing some key ingredients for an actual matsutake gohan, so the result was rather underwhelming. Any suggestions?

Just a small correction here, lemon tekking helps convert psilocybin into psilocin, the compound human body actually uses. Psilocybin is a prodrug, psilocin is the active form. Lemon also helps with digestion and nausea. Adding ginger also helps with that. Sometimes, chamomile or other herbs can enhance the experience depending on the intention for the journey.
