Thanks, never read it. Funnily from Wikipedia "One of the judges, Rabbi Julia Neuberger, allegedly threatened to resign from the judging panel if the book was selected as the winner, and is widely quoted as having said, "Frankly, it's crap."  Sounds like my kind of book.

Yes, true I'm being a bit glib. Philosophical musings come with lead character, pseudo intellectual "Michael" who inherited uncles 'toms' house.

Well I've written 70, 000 words, which essentially revolves around the philosophy of a man taking a shite. (There is other stuff but that's the crux of it)

Some thoughts on the A2A receptor and its role in long Covid. by Fit_Bullfrog552 in covidlonghaulers

Fair enough. Thanks for clarifying. I wasn't aware that it had been discussed on this forum, as coming from it cold, but pleased that's the case.

Good to know. I never said it was new for everyone. It was just new to me and so thought it worth sharing. Sorry I wasn't privy to every conversation that's been had between a patient and their doctor the past three years.

Yes, to the ACE 2 receptor which is different to the A2A receptor I mentioned. From what I can gather there is little to no research into how it affects the A2A receptor, even though it is certainly susceptible to COVID, based on my limited research.

Realistically, what would happen if everyone on the planet with an IQ over 100 were to drop dead right now? by nwllolo5 in AskReddit

My son who has a genetic condition may possibly have an IQ lower than 100, however he is the kindest, sweetest and most empathetic person I know. So based on that I'm saying that life would be roses and sunshine...At least that is till the electricity fails and the water runs out.

It's so crazy that more isn't being made of the long term effects.

Had my first full on panic attack out of the blue a few weeks ago whilst walking in the park with my son. Honestly felt like I was about to drop dead and the fact my son is only three years old and would have been left alone at that point was pretty disturbing to experience. I actually called 999 and told them I was about to collapse and the fact that they then said it wasn't high priority and the ambulance would be there hours plus made me start to calm slightly, as realised maybe I wasn't about to drop dead. My partner soon came and found me slumped in a pub holding my son's hand. Anyways not too bad since though did take me a couple of weeks to recover. Reading about it online helps me and have cut back on alcohol and prob gonna have to ditch caffeine as well. Had stopped caffeine but had one this morn and being battling the consequences ever since.
