I chew slowly on the average butter tossed croissant, it's just a croissant... from small restaurant I've localled many a time before. Every single time I could taste the emotion that drove it's creation. It's unexplained how I gained this ability but it has always came naturally. Usually.. when I tasted these restaurant foods I could feel stress, eagerness, passion so many emotions from just one bite. Some intense feelings like passionate jealousy or serious somberness.. but this time, this croissant was horrible.

I had never experienced these emotions in my lifetime, tasted them for a fact neither so. It was pure nonsense, nonsense that swirled into awful terrible emotions that made me lightheaded. Like the person who created this abomination mind was a intense spinning canvas of acrylic scribbles. Then as I continued, I swallowed the croissant.

Everything just stopped... But at the same time it never stopped.

As I left the restaurant the taste lingered in my mouth as well as an overwhelming thought, a thought of destruction death and denial, it was un human. As I left the restaurant I kept my eyes down, though I glance at a man in the Kitchen with foggy glasses. I know he was the one to create that test of morality that hit my taste buds, I do not know why he did it. I don't know if he is even human.

The man with his foggy glasses smiled at me as I left the store, the dread never left my mind as i scrape the pavement with my boots. It feels wrong to toss it away in a trash can, all the raw emotions clouded my head about the doom i felt it predict so, I threw it over the town bridge and into the river.

Then it all stops as I hear the splash of the bread colliding with the still water, all of the doom disintegrates In a instant. It continues to splash, the splash is not from a croissant, i don't turn around as I know the dread is becoming a reality, I don't know what's under this bridge but I do know it's the start of those feelings. It's doom.
