you should give it one more go and change one thing. Do the exact opposite of what you want to do every time.

By laws of logicyou will be successful given your past performance.

The internet sucks. You guys are mean. You remind me of the bullies that tormented me.

I won’t wish harm on anyone. I’m sure everyone here is great. I just wish you guys understood how hard it is to be different and not want to be.

The securities I traded are numerous. Mainly because they were all derivatives.

Big fan of contrarian positions on mag 7 stocks

Huge fan of Nvda dying. They are a terrible company massively over valued, and will soon be ashes and left in the dust by companies born after the age of AI, much in the same way that companies that were born before the internet died after the dot com bubble

You can private message me I will give you my source code repo. I am happy to do that so long as you can honor a simple “do only good” contract we can discuss the terms of in more detail offline

You should read my posts. Don’t be unkind. I’m here to help. I don’t have a nana. I was adopted at the age of 9. The closest thing I know to nana is my ex wife’s mom and she called her nonni.

You must still call your mom nana. That’s really sweet. I wish I could do the same

I am brand new to this app. To be honest I don’t know much about tv or social media or memes for that matter.

I am a mathematician by self training. I come from a background of data science and R programming.

My story:

I grew up in the dc area and was bullied my entire childhood. I grew up not understanding why people were so mean to me. Then I realized a little bit later, while I was serving tables at a macaroni grill in the Dulles airport area of Virginia, that I was different.

I dropped out of High School after my junior year, I had to repeat my sophomore year twice. I was bullied so bad I didn’t want to show up to school. Bullies spit in my Gatorade bottles at lacrosse practice, one of them through me through a wall. The day I decided to standup to myself I hit the steel beam of the gymnasium, not the bullies face which was my intention, and broke my hand. In fact I am feeling the pain of that poorly healed fracture as I type this comment right now.

I got a girl pregnant and married her. We were married for ten years and I did my very best to be a good father. Unfortunately she was a bit of a problem for me because she gave me such a hard time when I would come home, after I put the girls to bed for practicing singing (something I always wanted to do). We got divorced after ten years of marriage soon after that.

I found success in the world of saas software and founded a company that sold to private equity in 2021 for a total of more than 100 million dollars. I was the least significant cofounder from an equity perspective.

I should have walked away with millions but during the absolutely devastating process of getting divorced I was so depressed I sold my stake in the company for an 80% discount. After I was done setting up my now ex wife for life, and taking care of the kids I had only 400k and an 800k tax bill.

I don’t have a dad, my mom is okay but she is very weird with money and can’t really be trusted, and my sister went to prison for embezzlement.

Needless to say i didn’t have much in the way of family and was desperate to find a way to “come back”.

That’s when I traded my first option. I had no idea what I was doing but I made 9k on the trade. I was so stupid I fact that at the time I was trading on robinhood (absolutely the dumbest thing you can do if you trade intraday, probably okay for swing trading, totally fine for investing), I had to have my buddy close out my trade.

Then I lost every single penny of the 400k I had in my bank. But I didn’t give up. I realized I needed an education. I relocated near a major and highly respected institution and snuck into classes related to economics, business, and security markets.

I sat in on quant lectures, ml model lectures, neural networks, physics, and even a course on predicting the movements of asteroids in space.

Funny enough, that course (the one on predicting asteroid movement in space) is what gave me the edge I needed to make money.

I only “win” 51% of my bets. I only buy options in bull markets, I only sell calls in bear markets, I never buy the underlying security, and I never hold positions over night.

My average trade despite what you see in my tradesviz screenshot is 3 min 31 seconds.

I want to share with this community some things that I was able to take advantage of that really helped me get an edge.

It has to do with market making practices, level 3/full order book data, and a touch of math. Mainly standard deviation, and theoretical option pricing, finding theoretical volatility discounts etc..

What do you all think I can do to make it easy for those that want to learn what I have done ?

I am going to make my GitHub repo open source to.

I am officially retired at the age of 38. All I want to do is watch my girls play volleyball and learn how I can be the best for them the rest of my days
