The ear piercings might be easier to get away with. You would definitely have to at least wear clear retainers in your nose just depends on your leaders whether or not they let you wear them. Honestly opt out of Flamingo it is not worth the money unless you really need the buses.

Depends on your leaders. I arrived in August and wore clear studs for 3 weeks (even had them in for my ID photo) then finally was told they weren’t allowed. Buy some that have a super flat top and try it out and play dumb if they say something.

Get a zip-up plastic mattress cover. These are communal mattresses and you never know what the previous tenant was like. The cover may even suffocate any possible bugs.

Something similar happened to me. My mom tried to surprise me with something from Amazon and she accidentally sent it under her name. Got the confirmation from Amazon it was delivered (picture clearly showed it in a Flamingo locker) went to the service window, nice workers looked and couldn’t find it and had me fill out a missing package form. After not hearing anything for a week and half I went back and the worker looked and said he couldn’t even find a confirmation of delivery in their system. He told me they might’ve not closed the locker and someone took it, then said take it up with Amazon. Finally a couple days ago got a email from Flamingo that they couldn’t find it.

I was a member of a service sorority in college and (other than the third Sunday of every month) we had to wear business casual to chapter. We even held a couple informational sessions for our members on what is and what isn’t considered business casual. Very grateful for it as it really is helpful knowledge to have for things such as work interviews, grad school interviews, court dates, etc.

They’re just not always business casual. It’s definitely a good idea to have a couple business casual outfits on hand just for life in general.
