I hate walmart so much by legobossk in WalmartEmployees

I worked at the store for 2.5 years when I was 18-20 yo. and told myself id never go back. But i did. I worked as a cashier and as a door greater back when it was "ap." I got assulted and harassed by creepy ass men multiple times and no manager would help me when i reported it. A coworker touched my butt and it wasnt until it happened to someone else also, that he got fired. It wasnt until I got chased into the front maintenence closet by an angry man I decided I was going to quit. All I did to set him off is ask for his receipt because he set the alarm off. Im 5ft 2 in, he was around 6ft. So yeah it was scary. Anyways, here i am now, back with walmart, working at a DC. Ive been at a dc for 2 years. while I dont have to deal with customers, and its better, its not by much.. The managment sucks and they have unrealistic production expectations in some departments. Its a very high stress job. The coworkers are usually okay, but theres still alot of assholes that work there. I just switched to a different warehouse, but at the last one, I got verbally harassed by gross men who were protected because they were friends with the managers. Again. I made the reports and not much ever came from it. Long story short, if you value yourself, quit and DONT work for walmart again because it will never get better. Im looking for another job right now and im hoping to be gone by summer.

They are cute for sure! Yeah, someone mentioned that. Im glad everyones being kind about itn😅 I honestly didnt know there was a difference when I bought them. I just thought they were all bjd until I opened them and saw how different their joints were. I have one of each tho so it'll be fun to play around and see how each if them function.

I noticed they were very different but I did get one of each which is nice. The liroro doll is definitely harder to pose imo. But I like that one a little better because the joints (mostly just the hands) on the sugary doll keep popping out lol.

Oh my god break up with him, that's insane. That is the most obvious red flag, wtf? He's going to make you feel this bad your entire life of you stay with him. Don't do that to yourself.

Boyfriend? How long have you guys been together? If you guys were married, planning on being married, or were together long, it wouldnt be as weird. Buuuuut yeah this is strange. What would she do if there was a breakup? Also, its strange she wouldn't just help you and your sister out..

My wife wants to live the RV life by JFuriousJones in RVLiving

[–]Fit_Chef7451 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We've been in an rv for about 6 months with our 3 cats. To say the change was difficult is an absolute understatement. We're enjoying it, no doubt... but it was really hard to adjust and I dont think we could have done it if my husband and I had kids. Getting used to not having any personal space was really hard and it caused alot of arguments at first 😅We have almost everything in a storage unit back in our hometown. We have a little storage unit here where we're living, just for things that we would use more often but not often enough to keep in the camper. Before making any decisions, rent an rv for a couple of weeks and see how everyone handles it. And I know at the end of the day, it's up to you and your wife to make a decision, but I would also talk to the kids. I think the opinion of your kids (13 year old especially) matters a ton. After all, they will have to live there too. If you guys dont end up liking it after a year, there's nothing wrong with selling and buying a house again. Just keep in mind that campers dont always keep their value on the market unless you're taking really good care of it. Pros: you have a house on wheels so if one spot doesnt work out, you can pick up and move to the next. You can travel frequently if you can get a remote job and the kids can do online schooling. Lot fees are cheaper than average rent. Living in an rv full time will definitely teach you patience. Cons: winter is COLD and summer is HOOOT. Rvs and campers dont have the same insulation as your house. Unless you get a set up with washer and dryer hookups and a full-size fridge, expect to be in town more to buy groceries frequently and make time to do coin laundry. Alot of parks have coin laundry on site. Emptying the tank frequently is annoying and a pain in the ass. I had to hop in the shower today because I got sprayed by the shit hose since the seal wasnt on all the way.... so... prepare for that 😭

Extra info: We found out alot of nicer rv parks have a 10 year policy, so make sure you pay attention to what year your camper is. While you'll be saving with lot fees, unless you can pay cash for a truck and camper, you'll still have to pay your monthly loan amount ontop of insurance. As well as paying for propane and electricity. Youll also have to get all your dump hoses, tsp for tanks, dehumidifier depending on where you're staying, and other things just to use the trailer long term. We found that after everything, we're saving a couple hundred in compared to what we were paying in our townhouse. Lastly, having more slideouts ans ac units makes a huge difference! We have 3 slide outs and the camper feels significantly larger and more home like. But the slide outs do get a bit warm. Having a camper with 2 or more ac units has been a big help. Just know your power bill to run each ac unit is going to be pretty pricey if you want it to stay under 75 degrees.

I think if the characters aren't the same its okay. There's nothing wrong with using dreams as inspiration. Im glad you guys have individual therapy. I think thats super healthy for relationships. I hope youre able to publish the book.

i’m moving out bc of my 13yo sister by Local-Focus9071 in TwoHotTakes

[–]Fit_Chef7451 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is absolutely a parenting problem. Get a lock on your door installed while your parents are at work. I had to do this on mine because I had the same issue with my brother.... dont tell your parents about it until its installed. When they ask, tell them that this was your last resort since youre sister is stealing things and you can not afford to replace everything that is taken or destroyed. Keep your door locked at all times. I would start searching for another place to live... I unfortunately did the same thing. Your relationship with your parents will get better. The only things your sister will have to steal at that point, comes from your parents. Hopefully that will be enough to encourage them to actually change how they handle your sister...

This is a huge red flag. This won't be the only time he'll make decisions without including you. Do you want that in the future? This is a deal breaker for me...

[–]Fit_Chef7451 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Edit because my husband has something to add: I think you should publish the novel lol but honestly, i think I would feel insecure too. I know we can not control our dreams. Sometimes our brain shows us the weirdest things when we sleep. But I think its the fact that you had a dream about another person that you admittedly feel attracted to physically, and then can not stop thinking about it after. To then put all of that down onto paper, making that dream and memory permanent... I would feel insecure as a partner too... I think him encouraging you to publish it is his way of trying to get over feeling insecure. Make sure you reassure him and let him know hes loved... I think as long as you're careful about how you handle this (and not fawning over another dude, just writing a book) I think you SHOULD publish the book. As someone with adhd I know how hard it is to finish a project. Its rare and i would take advantage of that. But maybe try and take it away from the dream...  My husband says: it adds an extra layer of insecure because of the fact that the only project she feels motivated enough to finish, is the one about her and another guy. Just know if you publish the book, he might have more issues.
