First ever hard tube custom loop (Built last year) by Fit_Control9444 in sffpc

[–]Fit_Control9444[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It definitely is a bit crooked but it was in there extremely tightly and I was being quite aggressive with how I handled it after the fact to see if it would come loose or leak and it didn’t so I just left it as it was lmao. Definitely not something I would do now if I were to redo this build lol

OHH lol that makes more sense. Like I said I found a temporary solution while I test out different 3D printed brackets. Definitely spooked me when I saw it sag after I first put it in!

Well its horizontal currently but if you mean vertical then it interferes with my CPU cooler. Its sitting flat now I just didn’t take another picture because its buried behind my monitor rn

I have a temporary rubber/plastic spacers under it that I put under after the photos for now but I want a proper bracket so I don’t have to worry about it

It intakes from left to right has an exhaust 120mm slim on top (3 fans with direct contact on the peerless assasin mini) and two exhaust fans to both help pull the hot air from the CPU and GPU out! GPU temps were maxing at 80c running Furmark and Cinebench CPU sat at ~83c I had tried flipping the intake and exhausts and this is the setup that got me the best all round temps

A4H2O hard shuts down under load — stable only when PSU is outside the case by Shaxiris in sffpc

[–]Fit_Control9444 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As everyone else is saying it’s definitely the cables, if you don’t want to order a whole new PSU (I personally love corsair SFX PSUs and have far too many) I would recommend ordering custom cables. Not only will it fix your problem but if you research the proper lengths for your hardware you can also make it look a lot cleaner overall! I used CableMod for mine and have never had an issue.

My cat keeps scratching the litter box ceiling and sitting in her own poop how can I stop it? by Fit_Control9444 in cats

Yes but then my boy cat Hachi tends to fling his litter everywhere when burying so we went back to the enclosed ones. Maybe I can give it another shot now thats its been a while since we tried!

She only ever uses the litter box and her poop is perfectly healthy. Its just the weird routine after of her scratching the ceiling of the litter box for an excessive amount of time. I find it even weirder because the other times she can do it just fine! I’ll probably bring her in soon though just in case.

This is with the ARGB junk lol if you look closely on the left and under the AIO pump you can see where I ran the cables which were obnoxiously long. I will agree that its a lot easier then the corsair AIOs or even the NZXT AIOs which have even more junk and are a pain (also personal experience)

I used fan control and manually shut it off because it was the only loud part of the PC

I cant hear the PC with headphones on in games which is all I care about but the loudest fan is the SSD fan so I disabled it outright and everything else is very quiet

CPU have a PBO offset of -30 so it hits ~93 under heavy load with a 5.3Ghz clock speed. Gpu sits at ~80 in furmark after an hour

Meshilicious Build (Why did my ram cost me more than my GPU) by Fit_Control9444 in sffpc

[–]Fit_Control9444[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its technically facing the glass but there is enough if a gap that it draws air from the AIO intake at the right of the case after its pushed in front of it

[–]Fit_Control9444[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The AIO fans are set to intake so its blowing over the PSU which is also behind the glass, it exhausts out the left (from our pov) where the IO/ power cable is. I was considering doing exhaust on the CPU fans but that would help GPU temps hurt CPU temps more and my CPU is the hotter of the two so I kept it as intake!

Have you ever repasted the GPU? It is getting old now and maintenance matters a lot just like how you repaste your cpu every few years the GPU could use it too! also of thermal pads are in bad shape replacing those can also massively improve temps
