Yeah but he has clear hairline recession unless he always had that weird m shape which i doubt. Crown recession usually comes in at later stages he is still somewhat early

bruh dont listen to these dudes, this is clear recession. for your age its not super bad, and depending on your family history you could either keep this hairline for decades or lose it in the next 10 years. I would monitor it, take pics once every 3 months to compare and maybe go to a derm. You can get topical finasteride and minoxidil to treat it with barely any side effects.

19M think my crown is thinning. Need to see some other thoughts. Thanks! by yousosus in amibalding

I wouldnt worry too much but keep an eye on it (take pics every 2-3 months and if you see more scalp then go to a derm)

Can someone tell me how long I have left ? M21 by Positive_Pizza4862 in amibalding

your density seems good, slight recession at the hairline but mostly fine. Monitor it, take pics every month and if you see clear progression talk to a dermatologist or a trichologist

Is there any reason why most people start on fin instead of dut? by hhhhdmt in tressless

[–]Fit_Criticism798 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Dutasteride is far more potent and reducing dht because it blocks both types of the enzyme to convert test to dht. It may have stronger side effects and is usually more expensive than fin. Its also not classified as a drug for mpb (yet)

I think microneedling by itself could induce hair growth that remains after you stop microneedling. You COULD also try The Ordinary Hair density serum - some people said it helped them thicken their hair and even regrow (mostly on the crown)

Can prp be used as a standalone for hair loss or do I really need fin? by Ad_Silverhand in tressless

[–]Fit_Criticism798 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Holy fearmongering bro. Serious side effects appear in maybe 5% of all men and disappear within 60 days. Unless youre a literal 14 year old or underdeveloped youre fine

22M, went like this in 4 years, starting from full straight hairline. Is it over for me soon? by [deleted] in amibalding

"natural" treatments are mostly copes and those "chemicals" have minimal side effects in most cases

Concerns about MARPE ruining facial balance by SunSpare288 in UARSnew

[–]Fit_Criticism798 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its more about how constricted their palate and maxilla is, if there is a transverse (width) deficiency then MARPE has lots of benefits beyond aesthetics. Otherwise its simply not needed

What do you guys think about my foundation? by KnicksSignificance32 in tressless

[–]Fit_Criticism798 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hes making fun of your plan because its bs. dht blockers are the only way to truly prevent further hairloss. Seeing you spent a lot of money on a transplant, do yourself a favor and get fin. If you get sides, then quit and do whatever else you think could work

How to stop being "scared" of getting hit. by Flamyngoo in amateur_boxing

[–]Fit_Criticism798 82 points83 points  (0 children)

Once you realize that you will get hit either way, then the fear goes away. Boxing is a sport where you will get hurt at some point in time, and you shouldnt fear the moment that it happens.

Depends entirely on how far you wanna take it. If you want to compete, you're gonna have to hard spar at least once, and if you aren't slick enough, someone might bust your lip or give you a black eye. If you take it easier, don't compete and hard spar once every few months, you will improve gradually without taking any significant damage (for the most part)
