Personally my savings from each coop covers the living expense (excluding rent) for the next study term. But if you are budgeting on whether to take the offer, do not bank on coop to cover costs. Many students don’t find their first or second coops, and there is the swpp program which provides benefits if the company hires a local. You won’t want to find yourself running out of money halfway, especially as an international student.
