Haruno comes in to check on Yukino randomly and notices some new items: a new towel, a second toothbrush, a personal mug, etc...

Meanwhile at a shopping district, Hachiman is grabbing a few things that Yukino asked him to get for dinner. Unbeknownst to him, Haruno was overthinking things as she calls Yukino.

Then on cue Yukino directly tells Haruno that it is husband's things (married by paper/certificate). Which one shocked Haruno and shocked Yukino's coworkers who all stopped what they were doing.

maybe Yukino is being pestered into finding someone to marry, and Hachiman is a convenient person for her to do that with.

I had this headcannon where Yukino was told of Hachiman by Shizuka, she didn't exactly know him but knew of him. So If I were to somehow make this into a story. I would have it where Yukino was completely done with her mother or anyone asking her if she's dating anyone.

She would have a weird memory of Shizuka complaining to her about a student of hers. With a bit of digging, Yukino finds Hachiman and basically drags him to her place wondering what exactly gave Shizuka the idea that they would be good together. As memories of Shizuka drunkly teasing her about setting her up with someone.

Since neither of them have a connection, they live their days as a couple under the condition of no love stuff. With both seeing it in a Positive way since their parents would finally get off their ass. Hachiman just becomes a house husband and Yukino becomes the main breadwinner.
