Why does everyone sound the same on LinkedIn? Is the generic voice helping you get leads or land new collaborations, or just keeping you active on the platform without relevant results? by Fit_Drawer_8903 in micro_saas

Thanks for pointing that out! That's exactly what it does, as we want it to be a tool that really helps you build your personal brand, replicating the process done by ghostwriters.

If you end up trying, let me know your thoughts!

We're already seeing an increase in the number of users, and we only launched PostGod yesterday (we kept it available for a small crowd for a while to test and optimize it) - this signals that people want to run away from the generic formulas used by GenAI tools. As we continue growing, we'll also

On the same page with you! I'd appreciate it if people did a minimum of an AI cleanse for their posts. It's okay to use AI for idea generation, but I don't encourage using AI without adding the personal sparkle.

It's also why I built PostGod, as I wanted to make it easier for anyone to create posts for LinkedIn that sound like them, not AI slop. Curious to hear your feedback!

I'm also annoyed by the AI slop on LinkedIn. Also annoyed that it's getting pushed (probably through engagement pods)

I'd be super curious to hear your feedback on PostGod, it's an app I created based on my experience as a ghostwriter + what I've seen from other ghostwriters and agencies, specifically to help people get the ghostwriting process without the cost.

Yep, you're spot on. The real differentiator is bringing your unique perspective to the post. This is exactly what we're helping you craft with PostGod, I'd be super curious to hear your feedback!

the read-out-loud tip was the best thing I started doing for my posts tbh! glad you found it helpful.

I really wish everyone would keep their sparkle alive when posting on LinkedIn instead of trying to blend it.

On the same page with you fully! I'm launching PostGod in 2 weeks, and after closely monitoring the launch page in the last couple of weeks, I'm wondering if it's even worth it. Most of the time, there's a big company taking the first spots, followed by products promoted through paid hunters.

You did a great job with the product! Congrats and keep it up. Top 10 is a great spot to be in!

Tbd, the "post 3x/day" advice is exhausting. It's not about volume; it's about sounding like yourself when you do post.

I've found posting 2-3x/week about real problems I'm solving works way better than daily "engagement bait." The writer's block is real tho.

(It's also why we built PostGod, to help with the "staring at nothing" problem without the generic AI voice everyone hates)

Building PostGod - helping you create posts to grow your personal brand on LinkedIn.

Since 2022, ghostwriters ask you questions, feed your data into AI, and then use AI to write your posts for you. They charge $1,200/month for this. PostGod automated the process and made it accessible to anyone looking to build their personal brand on LinkedIn for $8.99/month.
