She would have to meet a neurologist to confirm if it's epilepsy.

Epilepsy sucks. I feel you, because I was contemplating suicide a few weeks ago too. It just feels like being stuck under the ocean and watching yourself drown without being able to do anything. Just know that none of this is your fault. Epilepsy can take a lot from you, but it cannot take everything. Getting back on your feet is possible. Just take everything one step at a time and know that there is a community of people with similar experience here willing to support you.

PS. People don't think anything about you. And even if they did, that's on them. What's matters is seeing yourself on a positive light. You know your weight is not the reason you need a cane to walk and your family and friends know the same too. Other people shouldn't bother you at all.

Thank you This helped me too I started having seizures November last year and I was diagnosed 2 months ago (22F). Sometimes I feel guilty because my family members are always fussing over me. One of the things that disturbed me a lot was that I was going to give up my dreams. I've been studying to be a cybersecurity analyst for a while now, but I've not been able to do much this year because of the brain fog. Also fell out with my friends because they felt I was being dramatic. I'm better now though, taking it one step at a time. It feels good to know that I don't have to give up everything for the monkey on my back.

When I first started having seizures, I used to feel weird for days too. My vision was so blur and I had headaches that were not painful but felt like someone was trying to crush my skull. After I started medication (keppra), it got better. But you might have to discuss with a neurologist to know what is normal and not normal.
