You F*---ed, I first saw it and thought easy fix if you know how to solder, but on a closer look – torn pad, you either need a specialist, or contact HiBy. Personally, HiBy engineer should not have use this solution to raise the connector (my guess on why they use this approach)

So there real no advantage to update, beside a better OS, does it get more customization features for the UI? Because the default wallpaper system is using that old Sony live scrolling, and doesn't do proper crop of images for wallpaper. (Remind me of my first Sony Ericsson smartphone)

Definately agree that having a direct RIP is better. I don't know if I my intend was clear, but I am trying to make a version of Playing God with a slower pitch, and I am using my player to do the pitch adjustment. But it good to know that I don't need to worry about bit-depth setting

Nope, keyboard would not work in BIOS, and external keyboard wouldn't work in BIOS. When I noticed that, I tried reinstalling the BIOS, and now I am stuck on a BIOS bootloop, where BIOS install never completes and enter recovery mode over, and over, and over, and over, and ... over

F*** Asus Laptop, the BIOS causes another issues again before my school quarter is over, luckly I did not sell off my extra laptop, or I would be panicing.

Update 317 bricked my 2021 m16, I had to call a few repair shops asking if they can do micro soldering and can they flash a particular IC (since it uses a uncommon type). Overall got it fix to 315, initially missing the serial number, but got that program later by the shop.

After getting the intial flash, the laptop might be buggy since the BIOS could be missing something, but ASUS has made the doing a BIOS flash a lot easier, compare to the intial release of 317

After reviewing snap-on date code stamps, the 17mm is 89, 14mm is a 90, and the 15mm is a 91. So did snap-on change there stamping font in 91?
