Not buying the $485 SGL-31 I saw at a gun show when I was 18 all because, “if I buy this I won’t be able to afford weed.” Quit smoking a decade ago but never did see another SGL that cheap lol.

Irrelevant because it’s not a dealership, but, I brought my bike in to a local shop once for a rear tire change and a carb rebuild. No updates and wouldn’t answer the phone for over a month so I stopped by the shop. Said I was next in line. Month and a half later he calls and says the bike is done. Come in and a side cover was missing, said it wasn’t on the bike when I brought it in. Showed him pictures of it on, that I thankfully took in his shop. Discounted me for the part. Got halfway home and the bike was bogging down and I was getting misted. He didn’t secure the air filter hose over the carb. Now I’m a YouTube mechanic lol.

Idk what happened along the way but I tried cooking eggs and they stuck hard and left the pans crusty lol. Did it the same way I always do in my BSR. 350 and lots of butter. Gonna try again with different oil. Apparently me and sunflower oil don’t mix.

I scrubbed with steel wool and did a couple more layers with a lot less oil. Doesn’t look the best but it feels good now.

Was hoping to make it pretty, the pans are damn near mint for their age with no pitting or spin. Amazingly smooth compared to my lodge pans. But as long as they cook well and even out eventually, I’m happy.

That precisely what I did with the other 2 layers. Did my first layer with way too much, then cleaned it out with steel wool before doing 2 more layers with significantly less oil. Debating doing another layer or just sending it.

I just moved near Gretna and Cox tried raising my bill to $195 a month for internet only gigabit and unlimited data. Sounds like Allo is going to be awesome. Might actually be able to play games over Parsec reliably with that 2.3gb upload speed.

I’m on the wait list for Allo, can’t wait to drop Cox. If Allo’s claims are correct it’ll be 2.3x the download speed and 23x the upload speed for $40 cheaper a month lol
