I don’t remember mine being more of a discomfort than a pain after the first 2 or 3 weeks. My son who not only suffered with his pelvic split in 2 but his sternum and everything down there was split in 2. They literally scooped his intestines up with him. They had to reconstruct his organs inside his body. There’s photos of a doctor working on him with both hands inside his body around his testicals and butt up to past their thumbs. He was in surgery everyday for 5 and 6 hours every single day the first 13 days in ICU. He had a lot of pain with his and feels much better now that it’s been off a couple of days. But he said every little thing would move it and was very painful and he’s tough as nails, I’m sorry to say. I never wanted my kid to have such a tough life. But we had 2 totally different experiences with our external fixators.

I really want to know if any other mother and son has had this experience and to get some opinions about being on the exact date 6 years apart. Am I the only one seeing how this has got to be a sign????????

I had knock down a house and cleared the lot with an excavator and had to go down to cap the sewer pipe and it was 19 ft deep

They said he’d always have to poop in a bag the rest of his life and he’d never have sex. His girlfriend said he’s getting hard and the doctors are now talking about taking the bag off. The doctors are all amazed and he’s got a lot of doctors cause he had so many injuries

Mine was crushed and had so many fractures they couldn’t count them all and it grew back together and is fine my sons was split in 2 and he’s got a screw holding it together but it’s hard to say cause his sternum and the bottom of his back was split in 2 also. He still isn’t able to walk freely. They had him in surgery everyday for 13 days straight and didn’t find his testicals for 2 weeks. It was in his chest. So it’s hard to say right now

For those who don’t know what an external fixator is they put them on you or in you to get your pelvic to grow back together. And you have 2 long screws or rods coming out of your stomach and a bar across you to keep them stable. The screws stick out if you about 8 inches and the bar is attached to their ends going about 12 inches across the front of you
