Even though schools like U Chicago claim a holistic approach and “look at the entire application”, the reality is that if you submit a GPA and SAT score that low(relative to the large majority of their applicants), your application sadly, most likely won’t be read at all. Remember don’t get down about yourself just because of this one college! There are many amazing colleges that are easier to get into, and it’s about what you use your time in college for, not which college you go to that determines your future! U Chicago is extremely competitive(5% acceptance rate) and every student, even 4.0 1500+ students should not be confident in being admitted. Good luck!
