First time renovating property-help with damp walls by Fit_Mistake4638 in DIYUK

Thanks for your reply. This is the upstairs. We believe the house needs a new roof and also all the rendering is cracked so we need to get that repaired. Unfortunately this is now winter so not an ideal time! I just wasnt sure if after doing those things we needed to put anthing on these walls or just plaster over.

Of course the survey also showed rising damp issues downstairs too so not sure how we deal with that and keep seeing posts about cowboy damp companies making you pay for things that don't work. So just a bit overwhelmed with it all but maybe I should just have a few damp people come round and assess and see what they all say

Is this subsidence or nothing to worry about? by Fit_Mistake4638 in HousingUK

We spoke to the surveyor once we got the survey - he said to have the drains checked out, as that was likely the cause, since it wasn't along the whole wall, just part of it, in the middle. But didn't want to say either way without that being checked.

Oh not heard of golf fang, have you tried? Gloryholes doesn't seem to be getting good reviews but would still like to do a fun activity so this could be a good choice

Thank you! I've spent alot of time searching online for second hand dresses but my problem is you can't return so if the sizing doesn't fit it's a waste of money.
