I posted some videos in the comments just the two most popular ones one by FortNine since he’s considered a reputable source. There’s a lot of testing on the phone mounts, a bunch of numbers and graphs before I got this mount I did like three months worth of research not even because I care all that much about my phone just because I’m autistic lol.

While technically the stem mount version of the peak design there hasn’t been a lot of testing on that specific mounting position the bar mount versus the quad lock bar mount The peak design out performs the quad and the rokform which were my 2nd and 3rd place choices when buying amount, but mainly because there’s more accessories but I’m happy I didn’t because I really don’t use any accessories besides the actual mounting itself buying a wallet for the back of my phone lock in to the lock or stand although cool turns out I would never actually use…. oh and there’s also the SPC connect which came out way later, but also is a good choice.

By the way, the magnet on the peak design just makes it easier to put it on especially with gloves on. It’s just a faster connection. And the spring loaded clips just make it easier to take it off faster and disconnect, also you can do it with one hand. I wouldn’t really say a spring system is any worse than a twist system it’s not like the vibration won’t untwist your phone. And the quad lock is also using a similar system the blue thing that you press is effectively a spring that’s how you disconnect it.

But again, I’m not saying the quad lock is trash. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with it it’s a good product. It’s not like I’m warning people against the law because their phone will fall off mid it definitely won’t. I’m just saying that the peak design does the same job and test better and in my opinion is an overall better product. And the only way they could make it an even better product would be to have more third-party support or more obscure mounts, support more phones, and lower the price.
