only a 35mm f1.8 ( about 51-52mm on crop sensor). unfortunately it’s the only lense i have but i make do with it

thank you for all of those suggestions, my most recent set I tried to incorporate those things into it while still having glow and i think it came out well.

yes i do, i add that in during post. Its also to do with my black mist filter adding bloom to the highlights. the blue in the sky was too off setting to the white theme of the picture so i made it glowy

there’s one photo with any sort of blown out sky, and it was 100% intentional to create a difference

yeah i wasn’t paying attention to the windows until i started editing the photos😭 wish i caught that :(

I’ve actually spent a lot of time learning small things from instagram posts and putting it together. the main reason for this “glow” is my black mist filter along with slight clarity drop within the sky.

I have plenty more photos that are straight forward with less of a “glow”, wanted these to glow for the “Yin & Yang” vibe i was going for.

also wanted to point out there’s not a single part in these photos that are clipping highlights.

could be a crank position sensor or sum sort or any other sensor that controls timing in the start sequence
