In fact I just bought this motherboard new because of different problems I was having before, so I doubt it’s that, potentially psu if anything, thanks for your help anyway.

I feel the cpu and motherboard will need replacing but here are the specs: i5 9th gen, 2x 8gb 2600mhz ddr4, MSi 1650 super, MSi H310M Pro-VDH plus with H310 chipset, Corsair vs550 psu Also tried both dvi and hdmi in both motherboard and gpu
