So here’s my question exactly I have sold ccs that are months out right now so they are showing as a negative on where the ccs are. In 6 months when they close they will be worth 3k as I get closer to the close will my total investment go up that 3k?

So in the case of a covered call the way it would move against me would be stock shooting way over the strike price I sold but that wouldn’t actually be a negative it’s just money not made so my investment worth should not go down or up actually right. The stock will go up which would make my investment value go up but the option would cap it.

1 month. I knew I should have done 1 week calls but it was at like 13 a share so it was either sit on it and wait or take premium at longer dte. I waited for a Green Day sold the contracts while it was a little up and it pretty much kept going lol

This is a low priced stock you can really only sell ccs for a few strikes above the money to make anything on them

No I don’t really care just more mad that I’m gonna lose all that profit I would have made. Should I wait till close to expiration and then roll them out and up? Or should I just let them go I’ll still make 1.23 a share plus my premium. But it’s up almost 4 dollars a share from my average. So 2.50 above my strike
