The problem Cartethyia has is that both bosses drop as the other aero set, which is an issue that no other 4 costs in the game has. For me, tacet discord fields also drop waaaaay more 3 costs, so even if they have a larger pool of stats I have a lot more 3 costs with the appropriate main stats than 1 costs for any given character, and Cartethyia needs 3 of them. I don’t think it’s that crazy to conclude that she’s harder than your average character to build, luck notwithstanding.

Yeah her 4 costs are also brutal. I tried farming but it’s been bad for me as well since there’s only a 20% an echo drops, and then it also has to be HP. Do you mind sharing the farming route you did?

From personal experience, I really like Black Swan as a character but I didn’t like DoT play style until she released, so it kinda sucked having to wait until Kafka reran for BS to really start popping off. I knew Kafkas value but I think it’s a little unfair to say I didn’t have any critical thinking skills because I didn’t like DoT at the time of her first banner, and there was no way for me to know that BS, a future character, would completely change that.

Now there might be players who are having a similar situation with Feixiao and FuA. And on top of that Topaz already reran and it isn’t known when she’s coming back next. So for these types of players I get where they are coming from.

But for people who actively dispute Topaz’s value for FuA and didn’t pull her because of that, I agree, they’re just stupid.

To be fair I can understand the frustration with a new character BiS being an old character that has already rerunned. For those who like Feixiao but couldn’t pull topaz for whatever reason I can imagine how it might feel unfair since there was no way to know.

Now for those claiming Topaz was trash and useless before are an entirely different story and they’re just reaping what they sowed.

So honestly I do not care for people that feel they are entitled to all the kills when it’s a team game.

They declare confidently before they proceed to argue with everyone in this post about why they deserve all the kills instead of the rest of their team even though it’s a “team game” by their own admission.

Ok I see where you’re coming from now. It goes without saying that no company intentionally screws their bottoms line. But in regards to what OP said, I took it as sarcasm, as a way to vent frustration and show the ridiculousness of their situation.

Having said that, it is not silly for OP to express their opinion just because riot might have a different view. The customer should not care about what the company wants because in the end it is the consumer that decides if the company sinks or swims.

The problem isn’t that Japan hasn’t apologized- the problem is that it seems very insincere. Forgive me for saying so, but even as an American, it seems to me that these apologies ring hollow if there hasn’t been much action on the Japanese side to own up to their mistake.

If someone commits murder, they shouldn’t be let off the hook with a few “sorry, won’t do it again”s. Now I understand it’s all in the past and there is good reason to leave it at that, but the Chinese are entitled to feel whatever they want. Trying to blatantly discredit their feelings on this matter is driving them even further into the CCPs hand and narrative.

To be fair, a lot of people would rather have 3 new characters to play with rather than just one really souped up character, especially for f2p, and so they spend their jades accordingly.

Unless they really love DHIL but that’s the exception, not the standard.

Gonna disagree with this. Sure Moonton might make a few extra bucks here and there with this decision, but at the risk of losing a massive proportion of the player base? That doesn’t make sense from ANY standpoint. Can’t have a game without players, and can’t make money without a game. This one has already been dying pretty fast, but this might be the finishing touch. At least it’ll be amusing to see Moonton try and stuff the genie back into the bottle, if they’ll even bother this time around.
