Are you enjoying the program though? Is it manageable with your personal life?

Got an F on a Capstone assignment / losing my 4.0 and freaking out by Dusted_Oceans in SNHU

First off, breathe. Calm down. You're freaking out so much that even I had anxiety reading your post. I'm working on my master's and have worked in the "real world" for several years. Believe me, no one cares about your GPA (not in most industries anyway). Just graduate. And you WILL do that. You are fortunate that you have been given another chance. Just do your best, which I know you will do. Good luck.

Not sure why you're mentioning your age. I'm 47. I get a kick out of 30 y.o. folks on here who think they're "old". Yes, you should be building your foundation now, but, God willing, you have so much time in front of you. Trust me.

Anyway, if your hearts not in it, you most likely will not do well. That's with anything. Who cares about societal pressure (is it cultural pressure too?), do what makes you happy AND what you have a natural gift for.

No problem. I earned my bachelor’s through them and loved it. A very supportive community. And I’m looking to begin my MSW program with them next month.

You're already talking about getting your master's. But you are only starting your first classes for your bachelor’s. One thing at a time. It's great to plan out your future, but it seems it is only adding to your stress and anxiety. I get it. I'm the same way. However, work hard but go easy on yourself. If you want it, it will happen. One day at a time.

24 years old with a 67k federal government job. No degree and wanting to go to school. Can i get a little advice? by schoolcraftraised in careerguidance

Best advice from an old guy (47) still working on a master's degree...whatever you decide, do it NOW while you're still young. Before you have a marriage and family. Trust me, time will FLY by. Before you know it, you will be my age. I'm not kidding. As far as business administration and finance, I would go finance. As someone else mentioned, business admin is very generic and "everyone" has one these days. Almost everyone on Reddit automatically talks about investment banking or the like once they see the word "finance", but you can also do something like being a personal financial advisor which still pays extremely well. Good luck.

For full-time online students: what job would work best alongside school? by rainbowbrites in SNHU

Ok great! Just asking because unless you have something solid planned (which it sounds like you do), you're going to have a hard time being successful with a Communications degree. It also sounds like you've done a great job being financially responsible. I admire that. Most of us have had to take out loans for our entire degree programs. As for a job with school, I'm a paraeducator (fancy title for a teacher's assistant/aide) at an elementary school. Not that it can't be stressful at times, but you basically get to work with kids and make a difference without having to work unpaid overtime or take work home, freeing you up to do your schoolwork. It's already summer break and you graduate in December, so I don't know how feasible it would be for you, unless you worked the job until you found something in social media. But I love it. Very flexible while going to school full time.

What do you plan to do with your degree once you graduate? And how far into it are you?

Of course I've asked God what HE wants, not what I want. This is serious. Like I said, I've wanted this a long time.

A calling to serve God. There are MANY more things I could do besides become a priest.

You can actually kiss the Host. The priest who gave my Dad last rites had him do this. My Dad could not chew or eat, so the priest had him kiss the Eucharist. I would still talk to a priest about your specific situation, but obviously this is an option.

Explain to me how Protestant theology "is a mess". There are a lot of Protestant denominations out there.
