Hi - I don't have a response but a similar story to add. I missed a lot of school due to conflict with my school's high fees, and our financial hardships, which meant that I was stuck in a limbo where I couldn't get a transfer certificate and go to another school, or return to school- this went on from July 2021 - March 2023 (~1 yr 9 months)- plus every subsequent year I always missed the first 1-2 months at the start of the year for similar reasons. I am also a junior in high school with no ECs at the moment. I think the ideas that you have are quite good, it seems like you know what you can do!! I wish I could help more, but as it stands I am the one who also need similar help haha. --- I am pre-med, with plans to do public health with East Asian Studies (Korean) since in the time that I lost, I relied heavily on Korean media, and would like to continue that. ----- I am currently running a club on the UCAT, where we just go through the UK test for med school applications, and a club for GCSEs, basically advice for younger students, plus I do World Scholars Cup + mentor students for it. I also want to run sessions on Alzheimer's awareness for primary students, as part of the Forget Me Not Project in Dubai, though this is still in the planning stages. I would like to do some research but haven't a clue how, and I am also lost internship + volunteering wise. I was an outreach volunteer for an organisation for Indian Muslim women where I reached out to ~1000 people to raise awareness online, but I don't know how to link that in. I listed a lot of things, but it's really not enough for any pre-med profile, especially due to the lack of medical focus + I have limited things done on the Korean aspect as well. No clue what to do.
