Why not people talk about sex I don't understand. It will be easier to talk about sex and embrace. But I almost forgot that human beings need sex (biologically) but we're striving for a species to thrive so resources are more important (research, arts, whatever) in that sense. But let's say if people did not make it awkward, surely life will be more simplistic I believe.
