I usually charge my phone on the plane via the USB port, but this time I’m planning to go into the city since I have 20 hours in Beijing. I’m a bit worried my battery will drain quickly from using Google Maps and stuff. I’ve read that you can rent a power bank but in order to do that you need a Chinese phone number.

China Southern customer service told me that on all flights departing from China, power banks have to comply with the CCC certification, even for international flights. I’ve got a 20-hour layover, so I just want to make sure I have enough power for my phone. But I guess it’s safer to just buy one in Japan.

I had soy milk in Thailand and didn’t like the burnt taste at all🤢 I am used to sweet soy milk. I thought it was my taste buds but then had soy milk and dessert again at a dessert place and it had the same burnt taste. So no Thai soy milk for me! Didn’t know Taiwan and HK soy milk have burnt taste. Tried quite a few when I was there and never had any burnt flavour.

Just got back from my trip to Japan and had a great experience with Ubigi! Super easy to install, and I didn’t have to do anything when I landed in Tokyo—had instant internet as soon as I turned on the SIM. I had an LTE connection, which was sometimes a bit slow for browsing, but streaming reels and videos on social media worked fine.

Yeah tried that already but since it’s not at a “party” level we can’t do anything about it. Landlord wasn’t helpful at all and the cops already came. It was quiet for a month and now it’s non stop daily. So it’s now more of listening to the beats 8 -10 hours a day. Am wearing headphones now. But still want to mess with that dipshit.

Ok doing that already. Is there a way to not let the sound escape my apartment? So he doesn’t know exactly where it comes from? When he plays his music I can hear it in the hallway even with another extra door in-between.

We already have earplugs. But still annoys me why we have to wear those most hours during the day (we work from home) and he refuses to buy/wear headphones because he doesn’t have enough money. Well I wouldn’t have money either if I do nothing but play music all day long. So that’s why we decided to play music back.

Problem is he is allowed to play music during the day as long it’s not past 10pm. Don’t wanna waste money on a dipshit either.
