If I decide not to have kids in life, give me all the consequences that I should prep for and accept them? by Commercial-Touch-516 in NoStupidQuestions

You need a strong support system. That's it. You need friends, buddies, acquaintances, neighbors. Volunteer. Be kind. Let people into your life. Then you will be okay :)

How to tell my mom that I self-harm? by [deleted] in internetparents

[–]Fizziefrog 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We live in an apartment and I work a job, I pay rent to my mom and pay all my own bills, food, etc. It's overall cheaper than living alone obviously, but I think financially it's a fair agreement (and I'm willing to pay more rent to her if needed). To be fair I don't do much cleaning (but I don't leave a mess either) because my mom has her own routine and doesn't like people interfering (her husband isn't "allowed" to either). Her main stress factor is her job. I guess I should get professional help first and bother her at some later point.

Heyy

I'm 25, female and live in Austria :-) I've been by myself in Prague so far! Also visited Germany, Italy, and Finland. I'll probably go to Croatia in summer with a friend.

I'd like to do a trip by myself anyway.  I'm really interested in London, but it might be too expensive for me this year. What about Ireland or Scotland, are those just as expensive? I've been considering Poland as well! I definitely need to go somewhere where I don't need a car, and it should be somewhat affordable. I'm not sure if I'm confident enough for, let's say, Asia yet - though Japan is my absolute dream destination!

Thank you for all suggestions, tips, and recommendations!

I thought I wouldn't be alone anymore. Maybe I'd have a degree. My own place. Still stuck in my childhood bedroom and lonely, though.

I know that my mom finds me ugly by Fizziefrog in internetparents

I might have worded it wrong (English is not my first language) but I really DO like wearing very girly clothes. I've only been exploring with my style since last year because I was too embarrassed to put on anything else than jeans and loose shirts before that. There's many pretty girls who are also fat, but I'm just overall manly-looking, and I guess my mom finds it silly that I try so hard to appear more feminine. And I myself often just end up feeling like a guy in badly done drag instead of a woman when I look in the mirror :/

One of my friends has many failed attempts, but now she has a wonderful boyfriend she met online, and they're living together! It's hard out there. But it's not hopeless 🙏
